We will be making three site visits this month and then the Accelerator Selection Committee will determine which nonprofit to recommend to the membership as the 2026-2028 Accelerator Grantee.

We are excited about the applicants and the amazing work these small nonprofits ($100,000 – $499,999 operating budget) are doing to help immigrants understand and exercise their civil rights. Some of the many critical services that our applicants provide are:

  • “Know your rights” written materials and in-person seminars
  • Help in completing and filing the complicated application for asylum
  • Preparation for appearances in immigration court as well as legal representation, especially for people detained at the privately operated GEO ICE Detention facility in Aurora
  • Organizing neighborhood immigrant groups to educate and lead their communities
  • Assisting to develop individual “emergency” plans for those who might be confronted by ICE.

This work has become increasingly difficult and any one of these nonprofits will appreciate the meaningful assistance from the Impact100 Accelerator Grant, which will be awarded on June 3rd at the Grants Luncheon.
