Holiday Market Volunteer Opportunities with Project Worthmore

Food packaging
Volunteers needed for packing food the second and third Mondays of each month.  The November opportunity is posted on our blog, with each opportunity aligned with a separate sign-up link. Opportunity slots will be updated on their site as they become available.

Toy Drive
They need over 1,000 toys by December 8.
 
Project Worthmore will host their second annual holiday market for parents to come and select toys for their children. Rally friends, family, special groups and co-workers to start a toy collection drive.

Here are some easy steps to get started:
         ● Email Marlene marlene@projectworthmore to let us know you will be collecting toys 
         ● Put out some collection boxes in a strategic location
         ● Post a flyer to help promote the drive (we can share a copy of ours)
         ● Bring the toys to our offices at 1666 Elmira St. Aurora, 80010, Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Holiday gift wrapping
December 19 and 20 join the fun gift wrapping all those toys!

Last year, Project Worthmore, with the support of our wonderful volunteers, helped more than 300 refugee families have a more joyous holiday in their new homes by receiving toys and other items donated by the community.

We need your help to make the 2022 Holiday Market a success. The two-day event will be held on Monday, December 19 and Tuesday, December 20 at our office at 1666 Elmira St. Aurora. We are looking for a team of volunteers to help set up the event, serve as event guides and help wrap gifts after the items have been chosen by the parents.
