We Don’t Waste event dished out HUGE Success

We Don’t Waste (WDW) is a 2021 Impact100 grantee.  On October 7, 2022, Impact100 members and supporters volunteered as a group at a WDW Mobile Food Market at Strive Prep Sunnyside.  Our volunteers served 128 families and distributed 32,000 servings of food.

Impact100 participants in the photo are Abby Humphrey, Barb Heverly, Patricia Horsch, Marsena Holsopple, Debby Kaufman, Lisa Snead, Joanne Bennett, and Alisia Robin.

From Debby Kaufman.  “Heartwarming experience. I can’t wait to do it again. It was very well-staffed and organized by WDW – so we got to meet the clients and not do too much heavy lifting!”

From Patty Horsch.  “It was a joyful experience to participate in the food distribution program of We Don’t Waste.  I appreciated the organization’s staff skills, and the thorough and thoughtful way volunteers were introduced to their roles.  I enjoyed interacting with the community and fellow Impact100 members.  I look forward to continuing this work.”

From Mars Holsopple.  “Hands-on volunteering helps me connect my philanthropy to the heart of what we, as Impact 100, are funding. It was an honor to know that we continue to elevate our partner organizations by being boots on the ground in our community!”
