Kathy Zimmerman, a member of Impact100 Metro Denver, saw an opportunity to introduce our collective giving group to her new neighbors at Balfour Riverfront. Her idea: to invite one of our grantees to present to her community since many of the residents are new to Denver. On April 23, 2026, Margaret Prentice from membership spoke to some 25 “Balfour” women about Impact100 and our success over these past 10 years in awarding nearly $2M to 33 Denver area not-for-profits. Kathy had a particular interest in introducing We Don’t Waste to the breakfast group, and who better to represent WDW than Executive Director Kyle Endres. The events coordinator at Balfour later told Margaret that this was one of the best programs they’ve had. Indeed!
